Cochin Tea Masala
This delicious tea includes Ceylon black tea, ginger, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, and black pepper. When brewed this full body tea produces a spicy aromatic flavour. Superb with milk and sugar
- Ginger powder (saunth)-100 Gms
- Cardamom (elaichi)-40 Gms
- Black pepper - 100 Gms
- Cinnamon -60 Gms
- Coriander seeds- 35 Gms
- Dry grind all the ingredients together.
For the brew
Add 1 ½ cups of water in a pan. Boil. Add black Ceylon tea or any other good black tea. Add a pinch or two of Cochin tea masala. Bring to a boil. Lower the flame, add milk & simmer. Once the liquid thickens into a dark brown liquid, take it off, cover for some time, strain into a cup, add sugar stir & enjoy!
