The following video tutorial will teach you the Paneer Recipe i.e. How to make Indian Cheese , also known as Chhena at home in an extremely easy way. It's good if you learn how to make Paneer, coz paneer forms an integral part of almost all Indian sweet dishes...(mithaayi Smile)

So here we go:

6 Cups whole milk (For sweet dishes, you may also use 2% milk)

Juice of two lemons

1/2 cup water

Boil the milk. As soon as the milk comes to a boil, add lemon juice (mixed with water) a little at a time, while stirring the milk contionously. Soon, you will see the milk curdling up. When you've added all the lemon juice, strain the whey from the curdled milk and what you will get is the Home-made Paneer.

Wash it well under a tap, so that there's no smell of lemon juice in it. Then take a muslin cloth, pour the cheese onto it, and squeeze it well. You may put this paneer under some weight for 1 hour to have the paneer is solid form.
